Guaranteed Pension of Rs 3000 under PM-SYM Yojana

A guaranteed monthly pension of Rs 3,000 is provided to the unorganized workers after the age of 60 under the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) Yojana. 

Who can participate in the PM-SYM Yojana?

The following workers can participate in PM-SYM Yojana:

• Unorganized workers such as brick kiln workers, cobblers, rag pickers, etc.
• Workers whose monthly income is Rs 15,000 or less.
• Workers aged between 18 and 40 years.
• Workers not covered under other schemes such as NPS, ESIC, and EPFO.
• Workers who do not pay income tax.
