Empowering Ayush Healthcare through Insurance!
Considering the growing demand for Ayush treatments, IRDAI's directive (IRDAI/HLT/CIR/GDL/31/01/2024) mandates insurers to include Ayush treatments in their coverage, placing them on par with other healthcare options. pic.twitter.com/vjuapuTqew— Ministry of Ayush (@moayush) May 26, 2024
The programme will also discuss the regulatory framework and policy support required to mainstream Ayush treatments in health insurance schemes and facilitate a dialogue between major stakeholders to address opportunities as well as challenges.

The other key issues of discussion are the coverage in the Ayush sector, standard treatment guidelines (STG) and ICD codes for the insurance sector, and penetration of Ayush in the insurance sector.
In addition to this, the programme will also discuss Ayush Hospital’s achievements, AIIA’s success stories, the onboarding of Ayush hospitals on the ROHINI platform, and the empanelment of Ayush Hospitals for insurance coverage.
