To deposit cash in SBI ATM, you need to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Search for an SBI ATM located near you and ensure it has a cash deposit function.

Step 2: Insert your debit card into the SBI ATM slot.

Step 3: Now, enter your debit card’s PIN and select the cash deposit option.

Step 4: Now, enter the cash amount you want to deposit.

Step 5: Select the type of account you have and then click confirm option.

Step 6: Now, you can deposit your money in the designated cash slot.

ADWM Usage Tips

Here are some usage tips for Automated Deposit cum Withdrawal Machine (ADWM):

  1. Machine can be used for depositing and withdrawing cash.
  2. Machine facilitates card-based OR card-less cash deposit and withdrawal transactions.
  3. Cash should NOT be folded.
  4. NO COINs to be placed in the cash slot.
  5. PIN, Tape, thread, rubber band etc. must NOT be attached with cash, else machine will be out of order.
  6. Cash should be free of moisture, oil, dust.
  7. Acceptable cash denominations by machine: ₹ 100 ₹ 200 ₹ 500
  8. Maximum acceptable pieces of currency notes in a single deposit are 200 pieces.
  9. If “Transaction Declined” is displayed by machine, it should not be used by the customer anymore.
  10. Amount of Fake / counterfeit cash will NOT be credited in the customer’s account.

The SBI Bank implemented the following service charges on cash deposits through CDMs/State Bank Cash Points from 1st October, 2015:
